Many packaging materials are amenable to recycling, i.e. the return of the waste in a vicious circle chain "productionconsumption". Glass also refers to the well-recyclable materials. In some European countries of used glass containers made up 85% of new bottles and cans. The reuse of glass is beneficial to the environment: reduced number of landfills where the share of glass is more than 20% of the total quantity of waste, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. In addition, the use of cullet saves expensive raw materials and energy when melting glass.
