In Germany the examination of packaging life cycle was held. For the first time there were compared cardboard packaging for drinks and a disposable polyethylene bottle. Results show that these two kinds of packaging create various impacts on the environment.
      Polyethylene bottles manufacturing demands approximately twice more mineral fuel than cardboard packaging manufacturing, and at their recycling it is allocated almost three times more gases dangerous to an environment
