Nowadays this polymer produced in Russia is more expensive than polyethylene up to 17% and than polyvinylchloride up to 15%. However by enlarging its production capacity its cost maybe lower than those polymers, mentioned above. This will allow to transfer to more wide application of shockproof polystyrene, especially in sphere of flexible packaging
