Russian light industry today is presented by three branches: textile (its share is 46 % from total amount of manufacture), sewing (30 %) and shoe (24 %). Last year rates of falling of manufacture in these branches as a whole have made over 7 %. The Most essential slump was in production of sewing production - almost on 12 %. Footwear manufacture was reduced to 4 %, textiles - on 3 %. Nowadays the total amount of goods manufacture in the light industry is estimated approximately in 3,2 billion USD that makes less than 1 % of gross national product of the country.
